We appreciate your attention to the invoice and the prompt payment of expenses.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: Don’t forget about the 2012 National Scholarship Program. Through the generosity of alumni, the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation will award more than $61,500 to winners. All undergraduate and graduate brothers who will be enrolled next fall in a program and who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply. This is a busy time of year for the registrar’s office, so applicants should request transcripts immediately to avoid delays. All materials are due March 1st. Click HERE for the app.
  • REQUIRED CHAPTER CERTIFICATIONS: Starting this month, Sigma Alpha Epsilon will be implementing five certification programs designed to enhance the knowledge of chapter leaders and pledge members about the policies and procedures of the Fraternity. These required certification programs will focus on the positions of Eminent Archon, Pledge Educator, Eminent Treasurer, Risk Manager and pledge membership. The first one to be introduced will be an interactive certification for our new, or pledge, members. Each program concludes with a quiz regarding the material presented to determine the level of understanding obtained on its content. Member completion of these quizzes will be tracked through our database.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT FOCUS: As our collegiate members head back to campus, and because we are embarking on a new year, risk management is the buzzword to keep in mind for 2012. We are proud of the progress we’ve made in the fall, including the stronger focus on risk-management education and risk mitigation. Minerva’s Shield is the ultimate source for our policies and procedures related to risk. You can find it anytime online by clicking HERE.
  • NEW FRATERNITY LAWS: We’ve released the digital version of the 2011 Fraternity Laws, revised in accordance with the 155th Anniversary Convention last summer. This PDF has been created with a user-friendly interface, which includes bookmarks and links. Click HERE to see the 2011 Fraternity Laws.
