In the News
- Condolences go out to Alabama Mu for the passing of 20-year-old sophomore and active member Wesley Easter who recently joined the Chapter Eternal. Easter was found dead in his off-campus apartment on January 10.
- Chapter rosters for current officers and members need to be updated on-line immediately. Spring FSC Invoices are due on Feb. 1 and Province Epsilon Dues Invoices are due by Feb. 5. Progressive penalties apply for late payment and chapter representation will be denied at the Tri-Province Leadership School if not paid by the deadline.
- A Tri-Province Leadership School will be held in Nashville, TN on Feb. 6-7. A minimum of two delegates per chapter must attend. Events kick off on Friday evening at 6PM; costs are $25 per delegate and hotel reservations must be made by Jan. 23. More details are found on the Province Calendar -- Jan. 23.
- The 74th annual John O. Moseley Leadership School early-bird registration is now open and runs through Feb. 8. During this time, chapters are restricted to two spots. On February 9, the fee increases to $475 and open, unrestricted registrations begins. The last day to register is April 10.
- The newest edition of The Phoenix pledge education manual has now been printed and is being shipped from the printer on January 16. Backorders should be arriving shortly and an on-line version is available by clicking here.
- Province Epsilon is looking for alumni and active member volunteers to serve as province officers. Contact Province Archon, John Asmar, if interested.
- Fraternal laws regarding Inactive Status will now be strictly enforced. No member shall be allowed to go inactive unless they have met the minimum two year committment, paid all financial obligations and received approval from the chapter and the province archon.
- The ESR has received 67 Fraternity Law proposals for consideration at the 153rd Anniversary Convention this coming summer in New Orleans, along with two declared candidates running for Eminent Supreme Chronicler.
- Facebook/MySpace, etc., pages and other on-line materials must be kept in good taste and conform to fraternal and university laws & regulations at all times. Please ensure compliance and continue to be our Brother's Keeper.
